Mechanical Engineer/ Inspector

Our services include construction management and inspection, environmental consulting, civil design, and BIM/VDC. EnTech is currently seeking a "Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Inspector” to join us full-time.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Work under the direction of Resident Engineer on construction projects (bridges/highways/buildings/water resources facilities)
  • Assess constructability, create as-built drawings of mechanical/electrical systems from conceptual layout to detail finished equipment for the rehabilitation work
  • Review plans/blueprints/site layouts/specifications & construction methods to ensure adherence to safety standards/building codes/specifications
  • Prepare modification/alteration considering existing structures/utilities/facilities and report design changes
  • Confer with engineers & contractors to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions and provide technical expertise
  • Monitor installation of plumbing/HVAC/ Pumps and other mechanical equipment or appliances to ensure proper performance and compliance with applicable regulations
  • Assist in the QA/QC process by reviewing inspection report data/documentation to ensure the efficient and accurate processing
  • Prepare deliverables such as investigation/inspection reports related to engineering and construction

 Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience
  • B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, design & sustainability
  • Construction Inspection experience is required
  • Strong ability in as-built drawings & statistical/numerical analyses
  • Familiar with designs/specifications requirements
  • Proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D/MATLAB/MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)/Adobe Acrobat
Estimated Annual Compensation:
$95,000 - $145,000
