Construction Inspector

About the Role:

EnTech seeks a dedicated and experienced professional with experience installing pedestrian ramps to join our team as a “Construction Inspector” in Manhattan, with some site visits in the Bronx. He/she will maintain precise records of daily activities and the condition of the site on a day-to-day basis for various projects. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Daily inspection and supervision of the installation of pedestrian ramps to DDC  regulations and standards.
  • Reviewing contractor schedules, monitoring operations, and supervising field construction activities to ensure everything meets the required standards.
  • Implement quality assurance and Site safety measures to make sure the construction site is safe for workers, as well as traffic and pedestrians. 
  • Keep accurate records of inspections along with preparing detailed daily technical reports.
  • Work closely with engineering teams, contractors, and regulatory utility agencies to make sure project goals are met.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 2-5 years of work experience in the installation of Ped-Ramps.
  • DDC Watermain Training
  • OSHA 10 Certification
  • A positive attitude and good work ethic.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to commute to job sites in Manhattan and the Bronx


Estimated Annual Compensation:
$114,000-$125,000
