EnTech is seeking a full-time “Senior Environmental Engineer” skilled in preparing Phase I/II environmental investigations and remedial action work plans. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication skills, familiarity with environmental report writing, and experience with junior staff supervision.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Participating in Phase I and Phase II Environmental Investigations
Site Assessments (ESAs) and preparing associated reports
Preparing remedial action work plans (RAP) and Construction Health & Safety Plans (CHASP)
Preparing environmental permit applications and SEQR/CEQR regulatory determinations
Writing environmental investigation reports
Supervising junior staff and scheduling/coordinating fieldwork.
Some field work required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Biology, or another related field preferred & 10 years of environmental experience
Excellent research and data analysis skills
Excellent all-round computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office
Familiarity with NYSDEC regulations
Proven organizational skills, working in a calm, logical way to deliver tasks efficiently.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with multiple colleagues, peers, and external clients.
Preferred/Desirable Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field.
New Jersey/ New York PE License
NJ LSRP Certification
Experience with environmental permitting
OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training / Current 8-Hour Refresher Training
DEC Endorsed Four-Hour Erosion and Sediment Control (E&SC) Training
Experience with AutoCAD, GIS
Hazmat Certifications
Valid Driver License
Estimated Annual Compensation: $90,000 - $150,000
