EnTech is currently seeking a "Cost Estimator” to join our team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Coordinate with management and professionals, including designers, consultants, and contractors, to establish detailed construction cost estimates
• Obtain accurate quotes for materials and systems to prepare accurate cost estimates for all phases of design and construction
• Supervise the development of quantity surveys and cost evaluations relating to design documents, contract drawings, specifications, or contract changes
• Review the accuracy of contract estimates prepared by private consultants and advise on implementation feasibility 
• Maintain knowledge of competitive advantages in the industry to aid the bidding process
• Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
• Gather subcontractor and vendor bids or quotes
• Develop and maintain subcontractor/vendor and client relationships
• Prepare subcontractor analysis sheets for the assigned scope of work
• Perform detailed take-offs
• Participate in cost negotiations
• Management oversight of estimators 
• Monitor construction project budget/timeline 
• Perform site/project visits, as necessary

Required Qualifications:

• 5 - 10+ years of related experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Familiarity with blueprints and the ability to read plans
• Must be capable of Take-Offs, Quantity Surveys, Full estimates, and Budget Presentation
• Must be proficient in Excel, along with a strong knowledge of Estimating and Takeoff Software
• Experience in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
• Experience in RS Means or equivalent, historical productivity and cost data

Estimated Annual Compensation:
$80,000 - $155,000
