EnTech is looking for a Full Time Geotechnical Instrumentation Engineer to join our team. This is a long-term position based in New York City.
Responsibilities
Attend Daily and weekly meetings with the client and Site Superintendents
Schedule, coordinate and install the instruments based on construction activities
Conduct the pre-installation and post-installation acceptance tests
Use of various geotechnical instrumentation and equipment
Troubleshoot and repair the instruments
perform data analyses and data evaluation and interpretation of the different instruments
Submitting daily and monthly Instrumentation Report
Support preparation of reports, proposals, and cost estimates
Conduct field investigations, including soil sampling and boring log preparations
Collect data from different types of instruments
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in civil Engineering or equivalent
2-3 years of experience in Geotech Instrumentation Engineering
Familiar with the web-based Geotechnical Instrumentation Data Management System
Familiar with Instrumentation monitoring program and real time monitoring
Familiar with the automated data acquisition system
Familiar with the automated monitoring total station system
