Resident Engineer

About the Role:
EnTech is seeking a full-time “Resident Engineer” with strong experience in NYC DEP water and wastewater projects. This role involves overseeing construction activities, ensuring contract compliance, and managing project delivery.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Perform daily site inspections and oversee the construction management team
  • Review and track contractor submittals
  • Monitor project cost, schedule, safety quality and contract compliance
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and progress reports
  • Lead and document site coordination and progress meetings
  • Ensure compliance with DEP standards and enforce safety protocols

Required Qualifications:
  • 8–10+ years of experience in construction management with NYC DEP projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • NY State PE License
  • Familiarity with e-Builder
  • Strong communication skills and work ethic

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s in Enviornmental Engineering
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety (essential for supervisory roles)
  • Familiarity with NYC DEP Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Estimated Annual Compensation:
$175,000+ annually, commensurate with experience

Location:
Various locations throughout the 5 boroughs
