About the Role:
EnTech is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as a “Resident Engineer” for a NYCParks project to restore the structures to a state of good repair and to extend the useful service life of waterfront assets.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide on-site engineering oversight for pile installation, pile repair, and deep foundation construction.
- Oversee marine construction operations, including work in tidal zones and waterfront structures.
- Coordinate with contractors, inspectors, design teams, and client representatives.
- Review shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Maintain daily reports, progress documentation, and quality control records.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Enforce safety protocols and environmental compliance regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Technology, Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering
- OSHA 30
- Experience in construction, specialized in heavy construction, pile foundation, waterfront/marine construction, and/or structural work.
- Experience working with New York City agencies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Manhattan.
Estimated Annual Compensation:
$120,000-$150,000
