Junior Civil Engineer

About the Role:

EnTech is seeking a motivated and skilled Junior Civil Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will contribute to the planning, design, and construction phases of civil engineering projects, including transportation, drainage, grading, erosion/sediment control, stormwater management, and utilities. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an individual with up to 2 years of relevant experience to gain valuable hands-on experience and grow within our organization.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop civil planning, design, and construction services for Civil projects ranging from transportation, drainage, grading, erosion/sediment control, storm water management, utilities (i.e., water, sewer, storm drain).
  • Development designs from the preliminary through final phase.
  • Prepare design calculations and develop design reports.
  • Prepare preliminary through final contract drawings and specifications.
  • Perform site and field investigations required for planning and design.
  • Provide engineering services to support projects in construction.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Entry Level to 2 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam certificate.
  • Prior Intern or work experience.
  • Experience or coursework in site drainage and roadways.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation.
  • Strong technical writing, analytical, and oral and written communication skills.
  • Detail orientated with emphasis on quality work product.

Estimated Annual Compensation:
$65,000-$80,000
