Geotechnical Instrumentation Engineer

EnTech is looking for a Full Time Geotechnical Instrumentation Engineer to join our team. This is a long-term position based in New York City.

  • Attend Daily and weekly meetings with the client and Site Superintendents
  • Schedule, coordinate and install the instruments based on construction activities
  • Conduct the pre-installation and post-installation acceptance tests
  • Use of various geotechnical instrumentation and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair the instruments
  • perform data analyses and data evaluation and interpretation of the different instruments
  • Submitting daily and monthly Instrumentation Report
  • Support preparation of reports, proposals, and cost estimates
  • Conduct field investigations, including soil sampling and boring log preparations
  • Collect data from different types of instruments

  • Bachelor’s Degree in civil Engineering or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience in Geotech Instrumentation Engineering
  • Familiar with the web-based Geotechnical Instrumentation Data Management System
  • Familiar with Instrumentation monitoring program and real time monitoring
  • Familiar with the automated data acquisition system
  • Familiar with the automated monitoring total station system
  • Licensed to operate a car for equipment transport
