We are looking for a skilled Senior Transportation Civil Engineer to help grow our team
 
Responsibilities:

• Prepare designs for roadway and highway projects including roadway design, storm and sanitary sewer design, site grading and drainage design
• Participate in project teams on all aspects of projects, including set-up, design, quality review and completion
• Modify construction documents, reports, specifications and designs
• Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, or other relevant documents
• Review studies of traffic patterns or environmental conditions to identify engineering problems and plan for potential project impact
• Assist in developing specifications, cost estimates, and final bid packages
• Make and implement recommendations for corrective actions when necessary

 
Requirements:

• 10-15 years of experience in transportation or highway and street design
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering
• NY and/or NJ PE is a must
• Knowledge of grading, drainage, erosion control, road alignment and hydrology
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microstation and/or InRoads
